April Update!
Hey Friends!
It’s been a while since we’ve posted an update on here! We’ve been awfully busy! In the last month we released our music video (now with almost 80k views!), recorded our full length album with Julian Saporiti at Sky Mountain Studios, headlined the Mercy Lounge, played other shows around Nashville, did a weekend tour to Chattanooga and Atlanta, played an awesome house show in Murfreesboro, and our KickStarter is about to come to an end!
April was supposed to be our relaxing month but has proven to be just as busy as last month! Our KickStarter is going to be over in 4 days and we are only about $1,600 from reaching our goal! Everyone has been so supportive! I think we are going to make our goal! xxfingersxxcrossedxx
Tonight we are going into the studio to do another mixing session! This could be our last one! That means our record is almost done! Wahoo!! Then we just need to get it mastered and pressed!
Next week we are doing an interview with CoverCharge a music blog in Murfreesboro and then playing a house show at Radar vs Wolf’s house.
Oh! And Anna’s birthday is next week (April 17th). Make sure to wish her a Happy Birthday and give her lots of presents!
Oh and not to mention, I am graduating from college in less than 3 weeks! Holy crap! Time to join the real world! I sure hope this band thing works out! ;-)

Wow! What an exciting weekend. Little did I know that I could meet so much raw talent in just two days! On friday afternoon we drove to Chatanooga, TN to meet up with our friends Strung like a Horse, we played a great venue in town called The CampHouse, and boy were they a crowd pleaser. The great mix of bluegrass and free formed gypsy sounds left me guessing how far the group could take a song. What a cool sound! We were so pumped we got to play with these guys! Woo!! Check them Out!
On the following morning, St. Patty’s Day, we drove to Marietta, GA. Along the way we stopped at a rest stop it was so beautiful outside so I went looking for a four leaf clover. No luck, and it was true too because when we were leaving, a big cup of coffee spilled in the car. What a mess!! Haha. But eventually we made it and we were so excited to play a show with two other great groups: IWasRaisedByWolves and Mr. Mustache. This house show had good vibes. Mr. Mustache rocked us with some great folk songs in mellow harmonies, we went after them, and last IWasRaisedByWolves hit us with his unique voice and story telling abilities. Some more great groups to check out! That night we stayed with our friend Dylan and got to pick a couple tunes for his awesome parents! Pizza, Friends and Fun; can’t go wrong!
Touring is so much fun. Although it was just a mini-tour, it got me so excited for our fifty day summer tour. But we still have so much work to do! We’ll be in the studio again this week and also playing a couple shows in Nashville. However we plan to go back to the Atlanta area in about a month so if you’re out there come have a listen! Keep smiling everyone!
